I’m not a big fan of “inspirational” social media quotes. You know the kind I mean, right? (Of course, I’m looking through my Hootsuite streams now and can’t find a good example.) ????
Sure, they’re uplifting, but people tend to share the same ones repeatedly. Boring.
Yet, every once in a while, I don’t mind reading quotes if they pertain to marketing subjects. When I need validation or a chuckle, they can help.
So, I decided to share some with you to motivate your marketing mojo. Here goes:
“Making promises and keeping them is a great way to build a brand.”
Seth Godin
“Success online starts with online traffic!”
Jeff Bullas
“Make your marketing so useful people would pay you for it.”
Jay Baer
“In the modern world of business, it is useless to be a creative, original thinker unless you can also sell what you create.”
David Ogilvy
“The purpose of every business and organization is to get and keep customers.”
Shep Hyken
“Business is solving someone else’s problem at scale.”
Valeria Maltoni
“The good thing about social media is it gives everyone a voice. The bad thing is … it gives everyone a voice.”
Brian Solis
“The art of marketing is the art of brand building. If you are not a brand, you are a commodity. Then price is everything and the low-cost producer is the only winner.”
Philip Kotler
“Don’t over-process marketing so it becomes bland and boring.”
David Meerman Scott
“We are all creators now. All publishers. And companies are collaborators. Okay, and sometimes, we’re fans of other people’s creations, too.”
Chris Brogan
Now, I’ll add my two cents to the mix:
“Always be customer focused. No exceptions. Your business exists for its customers. You make a living from its customers. You have a roof over your head because of customers.”
Elaine Fogel
