I came across this excellent Content Marketing Institute produced documentary about content marketing and wanted to share it with you. The one thing about content marketing you need to know from the start is that it’s been around forever!

Content marketing is simply the newest name for what we have called good old-fashioned marketing or advertising. It’s about telling stories or providing information that engage target audiences and move them to buying your products or services.

And, of course the Internet has changed the landscape. Content sharing through videos, emails, and social media have made a huge difference. Add traditional marketing channels such as branded content, and a multichannel strategy can help differentiate your organization.
