6 Tips to Make Your Company Party the Event of the Year

You’d be surprised by how many employees do not want to attend their office parties. When planning the company party, you’ll have to think outside the box to make the party inviting and exciting. Otherwise, you could end up with a minimal amount of guests at the next company event.

Prizes

One of the best ways to ensure you have an exciting event is to make sure you have prizes for the attendees. You could give away door prizes, or have small games that have prizes as rewards. If you don’t have the money for prizes, you could consider asking vendors or clients if they are willing to donate a prize. It’s often publicity for them, so they might be willing.

Exciting Menu Options

The best way to get people to the event is to have food. If you choose exciting food options you’ll have some happy employees. Don’t think about the standard fare like take-out pizza. Consider food that everyone can enjoy, but that won’t break the budget. Find out how much it would be to have the event catered instead of carting food in yourself.

Theme of the Party

If you want to have an exciting event, don’t just call it a party. You should come up with a great name for the event and think about whether it’ll be a picnic, cocktail party or event with entertainment. That will help you narrow down a name for your party. The theme should be appropriate for your employees and executives.

Decorations

When planning for your event, don’t forget to consider the decorations. Balloons are a great way to make it a party atmosphere. You can use them for centerpieces along with flowers and mirrors to create a unique decorations for the tables. Along with balloons, see if the venue will provide decorations for your event. It can help you save on your budget.

Venue

Once you’ve decided on things like the menu and theme, you have to find a venue. If you’re having a picnic, you could make use of the company’s space outdoors if you have it. Make sure there’s plenty of budget allocated to picking a space for the party. It should hold all the guests comfortably.

Invitations

A great way to drum up excitement for your event is to have beautiful invitations sent out to all employees. The use of invitations and RSVP cards makes the event special and differs from the boring office parties you might have had in the past.

It’s important that you plan your budget ahead of time, have enough money for decorations and rent the venue in a timely manner to ensure that you have a great corporate party.
