Social media marketing enjoys a plethora of advice articles, businesses, and forums, and there’s a good reason for this immense popularity. Not only is it highly effective, there is also an ocean of information out there on the topic. That might seem overwhelming, but that’s where a Facebook ad agency could come in handy.

Here are a few tips and highly sought-after tricks that can help both small businesses and large corporations alike to profit from their online presence and boost their brand awareness.

Keep your content fresh and make use of the schedule tool

There’s nothing less off-putting than a social media account that isn’t active. People want to see cool things and they follow for that reason. Make sure you have original content ready to go on a regular basis. If you don’t have any ideas, you should start with that first before even setting up a social media account because you need a solid plan and a strong idea of how you are going to manage your social media.

Of course, you might not be able to post at ideal times all the time, which is why schedulers are so important. Whether you’re on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok, there’s definitely a plugin or tool that allows you to do so. Optimizing on the time and date you make your post is super important. For instance, festive times call for festive measures and you better have a ton of festive-related content to publish.

Don’t neglect your inbox and engagement

Your job doesn’t end when you start to get engagement, in fact, that is where marketing truly begins. You’ll want to hook your audiences in by interacting with them. It’s so important to be responsive and coherent when dealing with your target audience because you want them to like you. It doesn’t matter how mundane or weird their messages get, always entertain them as if they are your closest friends.

When it comes to comments, you can get away with liking them, but if you see an opportunity to be funny or witty, always take that opportunity. It will solidify your brand as relatable, which is exactly what social media marketing strives to do. It isn’t the same as traditional methods, whereby you put out the content and promote your campaigns and call it a day.

Live videos are stealing the show so don’t get left out

Going live isn’t new, but it is truly and slowly overtaking all other forms of media that’s being shared. Find an angle that reflects your brand and stream consistently. A weekly live session is akin to weekly programming and when you get your audience’s attention, they are more likely to engage with your content even when you’re not live. Why? Because lives make viewers feel that you are their friend and that is exactly what businesses should be aiming for when tackling social media marketing.
