Getting your brand out there can be a daunting task. There are so many different forms and concepts behind marketing and advertising. It could be really hard even knowing where to start.

Getting your business attention is perhaps the most crucial step to a successful career with that business. You won’t make any money if people don’t know who, or what you are.

So, what is the best way to get your business out there? Read on to learn about a few ideas that will bring attention to your small business.

The Door to Door Method

You can spend your time going out into the community, putting up flyers, building relationships with potential customers by having pop ups at markets, or even collaborating with already established businesses if there’s not a conflict of interest. Getting your name in the community can be difficult so there’s nothing wrong with hitting the ground running and building those relationships early on. A loyal community will go a long way when it comes to the success of your business.

Play the Social Media Game

Social media is the newspaper of the modern age. Having a strong social media presence is crucial to being taken seriously. Don’t be afraid to hire someone to manage all social media platforms for you.

Once you’ve begun developing a following, try to get reposted by larger community pages in the Boston area. There are several pages with a large following that only exist to post about places to go in Boston. Once you’re on the radar of those pages, you’re on your way to having a well known and successful business.

Place Ads on Billboards in Boston

This is perhaps the most important thing for you to do. Boston billboards are one of the most cost effective ways to get your business in front of millions of people. A billboard campaign lasts about four weeks and has around 132 million median impressions. So, millions of people commuting to work, visiting from out of town, or driving to get dinner with a friend will have the chance to come across an ad for your business.

There are 151 billboard locations across Boston and they are all strategically placed in heavily trafficked areas with high visibility to ensure that they will be read. The ads are also rotated among the different billboards to optimize the amount of people coming into contact with it. It really is a great option for bringing attention to your business.

Run Specials

No one will turn down a good deal. Don’t be afraid to run a special or two at the beginning to get people in the door. This could be anything from a buy one-get one deal to a store wide sale. Once you get the word out that you are running a special like this, make sure you and your team are ready to handle the business. If people come in and it takes too long, or the employees were too stressed, or have any bad impression at all; it may have done more harm than good.

On the other side, if they come in and things run smoothly, then they leave having had an amazing experience and you may have just obtained several loyal customers. Continue to do this every once in a while to keep sparking the attention of the Boston community.

Place Ads on Transit Locations

Just like the billboards, placing ads in different transit locations will get your name in front of a lot of people. You can place your ad on park benches, the sides of buses, or the tops of taxis. You can also place them inside of airports or subways. All of the places are highly trafficked areas that are seen both by tourists and locals. So in a city like Boston, these ads will go a long way.

There are countless other ways to get your business the attention it deserves, but start by trying some of these ideas out. Marketing is one of the most important things you can do, especially when you are first starting up. So, place an ad on boston billboards and make sure your social media is up to par. You won’t regret taking the time to carefully think through your advertising and investing in it. It doesn’t have to be as daunting as it seems. I hope you feel a little more prepared to take Boston by storm!
