Mark Zuckerberg Announces Facebook Small Business Grants Program

As the Covid-19 pandemic continues to take its toll on small businesses, SmallBizClub is as committed as ever to our mission of providing information and news that will support and help small business everywhere.

To that end, following is a preliminary announcement from Mark Zuckerberg regarding Facebook’s Small Business Grants Program. Stay tuned for other similar updates.

The coronavirus outbreak isn’t just a major health crisis — it’s also a large economic disruption leading to people losing their jobs and making it harder to take care of their families. We’ve heard that a little financial support can go a long way, so today Facebook is launching a program to help communities and small businesses recover from this situation.

Facebook is investing $100 million to help 30,000 small businesses where our employees live and work. We’re also working on resources to help individuals and small businesses find training and support that you can find on our Business Resource Hub at: facebook.com/resource

Facebook Small Business Grants Program

We know that your business may be experiencing disruptions resulting from the global outbreak of COVID-19. We’ve heard that a little financial support can go a long way, so we are offering $100M in cash grants and ad credits to help during this challenging time.

Who’s eligible?

Facebook is offering $100M in cash grants and ad credits for up to 30,000 eligible small businesses in over 30 countries where we operate. We’ll share more details as they become available.
