Talk to Your Competitors

Change is a constant in every walk of life. As a quarterback, you have to adjust what you’re doing not only every season, but every game, every half, every quarter, and even every play! It’s a constant chess match, with offense and defense adjusting and counter-adjusting and evolving their strategies quickly.   It’s much the same in business. Business changes and moves in a very similar way. It might not be as fast-changing as sport, but every business, every product and service must adapt and change to stay ahead of the curve to serve the changing needs of customers. Even the most successful company must change, because it’s amazing how much can change in just a few years.

To be more relevant to the customer, to make better products and services that better meet the needs and solve the problems people have. Because that is the ultimate goal of a business—to solve problems for people. Money is a byproduct that comes when you’re doing that effectively.

The best way to stay ahead of the curve is not to shut yourself off and just brainstorm by yourself, though. It’s to talk with fellow entrepreneurs and learn more about what each other is doing. Find people who understand what you’re doing, who have knowledge and experience, and who are also trying new things to adapt just like you are. By sharing your experiences with each other, you both have a better chance of succeeding. Even the best need to look for ways to get better and need help to achieve it. That resonates whether you’re a quarterback or an entrepreneur.
In the past, that meant finding other people in your city or maybe your state, but thanks to online resources like Small Biz Club, it’s easier than ever to connect with others across the country and even around the globe.

BizCoachingOnDemand.com

Business Coaching On Demand was formed out of the need to provide small business with expedited results in today's competitive marketplace. We recognize that sometimes small business is overlooked and when services are available, they are generally priced too high to be implemented immediately. We also realize that many small business people have no idea where to go for the help and support they need.
