Social media is extremely relevant in building your business and should play a big role in your company’s marketing strategy. So the big question is, how much time should be spent branding your business on social media websites?
In general, spending thirty minutes to an hour a day should be a sufficient amount of time for making content for your page. With different social media platforms, creating content will probably differ depending on whether you’re posting something on Twitter, which can take a couple of minutes or perhaps making a collage for Facebook or Instagram, which will be a bit more time consuming. Checking your page a few times in the morning, noon and evening is a good rule of thumb to making sure that you respond to your friends and followers in a timely manner.
When someone comments on your page, you don’t want to leave them constantly checking back on whether you’ve responded. Ideally, starting out you would want to spend about five hours a week managing your social media page. Practice makes perfect, so as you get more accustomed to making content for your social media page it will get easier and faster to create.
